hi

We have been using SAP Automation suite 4.5b and now due to migration the SAP Instance has changed over to 4.6c hence the SAP Automation suite is not able to connect giving an error "please use the most current version of SAP GUI".

I would like to know where I can get S A P A u t o m a t i o n ( B C - F E S - A I T ) 4.6C to upgrade .

Can someone suggest please. Else if i can get steps to over come the "please use the most current vestion of SAP GUI" error that will be more than enough as well.

Jude,

let me try the steps you have mentioned. I tried once before but not able to download for some reason getting a network 403 error.

I have already installed Frontend in my laptop . Will this component be installed already ? Is there a way to check this file in my system to know if it is existing ?

Hello Jay,

Do you have accss to the servicemarketplace?

If not,you may need to talk to your account manager to grant you access.

The automation logon should be included in the sapgui.

Is BEx installed as part of your package?

hi Jude

i have installed 7.20 however BEX is not there and i am in a curious situation where for operations we have used SAP Automation suite for over few years now however now after migration of the sap finance instance from 4.5b to 4.6c this automation suite is not working.

Admin is not helpng us out as these are softwares which are technically downloaded from a central server so no direct support availlable for me to help out.

Right now when we use the Automation software to log on into 4.6c i get an error "use the most current version" .

Is it possible to let me know the current version dll file name which I can probably use . In Other words i would like know which file in the standard installation SAPGUI folder will have version file so that when Auto mation suite refers it can refer the correct DLL. Thanks Jude

The filename is 50105790_4 and it is a one-part file.

Refer to the installation guide in the folder NW_7.0_Presentation\PRES1\DOCU\

to deploy the SAPGUI.

Referring to the SAP Automation guide (http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/BCFESRFC/BCFESRFC.pdf) i assume you use the normal SAP GUI which you can download at http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/sap-gui#section31
