Several countries using MOLGA 99

Hi, I'm having a problem with payroll implementation.

We have implemented payroll for Guatemala. We have used MOLGA 99. Now we have to implement payroll for Honduras. As there not exist an especific SAP payroll for theese countries, we used MOLGA 99 for Honduras too.

Company codes are differents and have the rigth currency for each country.

Now when we execute payroll for Guatemala in QA, the results are in HLN (Honduras Lempiras), not in GTQ (Guatemalan Quetzales) as expected.

Which could be the best solution for that?

Create another country grouping?

Is there a solution in some SAP note or EHP?

Regards

Jose Ernesto

Hi,

No need to create a separate country grouping. Check all the currency related assignment tables for all your personnel areas. It might be becoz of unproper assignment of currency to PAs.

Also check the grouping of PAs to company codes.

regards.

Hi,

Change the country key for the personnel areas to the one you need.

Also, check the bank key and currency in the 'set countries' node of the Enterprise structure img node.

Thank you for your answer.

I was told you must use MOLGA 99 for countries without payroll in SAP. So I could use the country key "GT" for Guatemala in "Assignment of Personnel Area to Company Code", but if SAP defined a payroll localization for Guatemala, I could have problems. Thats why I used MOLGA 99 for Guatemala and Honduras.

I'm I ok? Any other idea?

Thanks a lot
