Hi All,
I want to know about composite providers in SAP BW7.3 version.
What is composite provider, its use, architecture, and any example.
Please give me some documents regarding this.
Regards,
Naveen
Hi
Ad-hoc joins/unions of analytical indexes in SAP NetWeaver BWAccelarator.
Composite Provider describes a union/join of analytical indices
Lean Modeler tool is the Design-time environment to build Composite Providers
Join/Union operation is processed on the fly by BWA
For all other BI Clients CompositeProviders are exposed as standard SAP NetWeaver BW InfoProvider
Please go thru the below link for 7.3 features
Hope this helps.

Hi Bhimavarapu,
A CompositeProvider is a data model where u20181:nu2019Analytic Indexes created with the Analysis ProcessDesigner are joined via UNION and inner or left outer JOINS. It is a semantic definition without data persistency. Joins are calculated on an ad-hoc basis at query runtime. It is the first object in the Business Warehouse where data can really be joined in the SAP BW Accelerator(an InfoSet is a DB-JOIN and a MultiProvider is a UNION).
