Hi ,

the transport request, by which you have transported the process chain , check it in production Check the log. There should be some warning. That can be helpful to identify the reason.

You can re transport the PC.Go to dev transport connection - collect the PC in transport request.Take all the process variants along with the process chain variant, into the transport request.

as mentioned , the PC is not editable in prod. Some time it happens that, on double clicking on the PC in tcode - RSPC , it remains invisible. If this is the case, just double click on the PC in RSPC t code. it will remain invisible.no problem.Just click the edit button, the PC will be visible and now one can activate it.

I am saying this as because, as mentioned role assigned is SAP_ALL , PC should always be editable in prod - as many time we may need to change the info package and dtp parameters.

Thanks

Hi,

Please do the following checks.

Check weather the Process Chain is active of not in DEV environment.

Check weather you have authorization to modify Process chains or not in PROD environment. This can be done by going into the t-code RSA1 >> Transport Connection >> Object changeability

Here we get a Pop-up in which you can see for what all objects you are having authorization.

Check here for object type 'RSPC',weather you have 'Everything Changeable' option or not.

If you don't have this option 'Everything Changeable', then you are not authorized to edit the Process Chain in Prod.

If you are having authorisation, then

go to checking view of the Process chain in PROD, if the transport is not sucessful then you can find some errors in checking view.

In this case you have to reimport the transport. Its better to do the transport using Transport Connection in RSA1.
