G/L Decrease Account is Missing

Hi all.

I am having a problem in adding the stock revaluation. When I try to add a list of items in stock revaluation, it pops up a message "G/L Decrease Account is Missing [Stock Revaluation Information Array - Stock Reval. Decrement Account] [line 10:] [Message 70001-25]"

The account does exists in the SAP but I don't know why it says the account is missing. When I try to add it one by one then it will be okay. I got a list of items which got to do the stock revaluation and I don't want to add it one by one.

Anyone here please share your opinions here.

Thanks.

Best Regards,

Xavier

Hi Xavier...........

If you set your GL Method by Item Group then please check Item Group Level Account GL Decrease and Increase Account is mapped or not. Or same for Warehouse Accounting else for Item Level Account for all the items you are trying to revaluate.......

Hi Rahul,

Yup, the GL Method of the items that I try to revaluate is by Item Group. How am I going to check Item Group Level Account GL Decrease and Increase Account is mapped or not? Sorry as I am not so familiar with SAP B1.

Thanks,

Xavier

Hi Xavier........

Open Item Master of which you want to revaluate. There you fond Item Group set. Open that Item Group. In that you find Accounting Tab. In this tab you find several GL Accounts same way you find GL Increase and GL Decrease Account which might be blank. You have to fill it up and Update that Item Group.

Once you do this your problem will be solved.............

Ok, I have found that the GL Increase and GL Decrease Account of the Item Group - Consumables is blank. I don't know whether which account number that I can fill up as different item has differrent GL Increase and GL Decrease Account while they are in the same Item Group.

For example,

ItemCode Desc ItemGroup GL Increase Acc GL Decrease Acc

BL001 Pen Consumables 503040-00-001 503040-00-001

FL020 Saw Consumables 501020-00-002 501020-00-002

Something weird happen..when I tried to add the Inventory revaluation again by 10 items each time then the problem won't appear again..but I don't want to add them one by one like that.

Thanks,

Xavier

HI

you should ask your B1 implementer for the G/L Accounts because they might followed some standards.

Or

Can you put your account name here for more detail?

Actually the best person to decide them will be from your accounting department.

Hi Xavier,

It sounds like you Set G/L Account by Item level. If that is not what you want, change them.

Run a query to check:

SELECT ItemCode FROM OITM WHERE GLMethod='L'

Thanks,

Gordon

Hi Gordon,

Thanks for your query. I have used it to check the GLMethod of the items that I am trying to revaluate and found that they are managed by Item Group.

Thanks,

Xavier
