To make career in SAP with any module, the prerequisites are given below :

1, Min 3 yrs domain experience (SAP experience also works)

2, MBA, BE or equivalent techical degree

3, Good Technical knowledge

You have not mentioned about your industry type of SD experience. If you have 3 years experience in EXPORT-IMPORT industy than GTS module will definitely help you to lift up your career.
