Crystal specific roles still required for Crystal Reports 2011?

Are the various Crystal roles that have been uses up through BOE XI 3.x (ie. Crystal Developer, Crystal Publisher, Crystal User, etc.) still required for reporting off of SAP data using Crystal Reports 2011 and if so, have the roles been changed at all? I understand that the transports are still necessary.
