Not able to open data preview for any table in SAP_HANA_DEMO catalog object ?

I am a beginner in SAP HANA and doing self-learning and exploring things into it by getting help from communities and articles across the world over internet. There is this common error I have seen people discussing in community which I too had encountered:

SAP DBTech JDBC: [258]: insufficient privilege: Not authorized

while I tried to Open Data Preview of one of the table in SAP_HANA_DEMO catalog object while logged in as SYSTEM user on a SAP HCP trial instance ?

Hello Roshan,

Can you check if the user _SYS_REPO has SELECT rights on the schema/catalog object SAP_HANA_DEMO under Object Privileges.

I have checked it, here is the screen (it is disabled).

below screen is for SAP_HANA_DEMO (it is enabled, but I cannot modify it as it throws error)

Could not modify user '_SYS_REPO'. Could not grant privilege SELECT on SAP_HANA_DEMO You are not authorized to perform the required actions

Hello Roshan,

Try to assign the role starting with 'sap.hana.democontent*' to your user (SYSTEM) and check again.
