CTS+ for new BI portal landscape

hi ,

In our lanscape CTS+ is configured for portal and NWDI use case for enterprise portal.(ESS&MSS)

Now we are planning to implement teh same for a second portal landscape(BI).

I was not able to find any documentation regarding this.

Can you let us know if i can use the same solution manager system for this purpose .

Also currently the transport directory of solman+enterpirse portal(dev,quality,prod) is same .

So for adding a new landscape do i need to have thsi transport directory common again ?

Hi,

Yes, you can use same solution manager for this purpose. If you want to use same transport directory then it is possible and you can also use different transport directory.

You can configure CTS+ for your BI landscape in same way as you did for your portal system. We had similar discussion few days back, please check below link:

Regarding the trans directory ,can you tell me how can i use a different trans directory since TRANSDIR is a global parameter.

Hi,

Its global parameter for each system not for landscape. If your system will be in different trans directory then transport group will be different.
