Regardin maintainig 0008 (Basic pay) infotype.

Hi SAP Experts,

I have a querry and want a help from u on urgent basis.

I am trying to run payroll. I have done with all the configuration correctly ( as i feel so) . Maintained infotype 0007 as well with TMS as 9.

Now while maintaining infotype 0008(basic pay) if i am taking start date as the hiring date of an employee then all wage types are getting reflected but the moment i click on SAVE a msg come in status bar " wage type model has changed on the specified date"

And if i am taking start date as the default date 01.01.1990 which i have taken everywhere then wage types are not getting reflected and i am getting message "pay scale grouping for allowance has changed on specified date"

In summary i am not able to maintain a record for Basic pay(0008)

Plz help me out with some steps in case i am forgetting to do.

A thread I has come accross before addresses a similar problem.

Thaaks Dilek for such a quick response but i have already checked with all those things.

Problem is this if i am taking hiring date as start date then all wage types amount are reflected but if i take start date default one i.e 01.01.1990 then its not .
