Data source not showing porper data in flat file data loading

Hi Experts,

I am trying to load data from flat file for info object 0COSTCENTER. I have attribute data in the attribute.csv file which has three columns (i.e. CostCenter code, Date from and date to). I have created one data source. (FYI: infocube is 0bbp_c01)

My question is: In data source, in the field tab I have selected respectively info objects 0COSTCENTER, 0DATEFROM, 0DATETO.

After activating the data source when i click on the Read Preview Data in the Preview tab, the date column doesn't show proper data. It shows Valif from as: 19.1..01.0 and valid to as: 99.2..31.1

I want to show the date as dd.mm.yyyy format. Please suggest me the procedure.

HI

Change the data in the Flat file for Date field in the format YYYYMMDD. Then try viewing the Preview.

If it still shows error message like your system format does not match, Check the System date format, you can check in SU01-->defaults tab, change the data in the flat file with your system format and check.

Hi,

I checked in the system SU01 and the date format is dd.mm.yyyy

So should I change the data in the Flat file for Date field in the format YYYYMMDD ?

And system doesn't show any error message.

Hi,

Either you can use internal or external format by changing the internal or external setting in your data source.

Or you can use DATS EXIT in datasource to change the format.
