no entry in table t001p

if am hiring a person and assigning wagetype its showing a error saying "no entry in table t001p for personnel area xxx.

"Basic salary is not part of the pay components" what you mean this

Hi,

Go to SM30>>enter table T001P and select maintain and see if Your PA has the PSA linked to it,if not maintain it and save.

U did not linked PA and PSA in V_T001P table.

Go to V_T001P table and link the PSA to PA as PSAreas are always depend on PA.Otherwise u cannot save IT0001

Check the config properly for the Grpg of wagetypes,PSA,PST etc may be a link is missing.

Was the original hire date changed? If so, you may have other master data with a begin date before the Infotype 0001 begin date. This error message will display if this is true. In our case, it's almost always Infotype 2006 for quotas. Check IT6, IT7, IT8, IT9, IT14, IT15, IT41, IT167, IT168, IT169, IT2006, and any tax infotypes used in your country.

Please check the Personnel area and personnel subarea of the respective employee.

Then once you check V_t001p,and confirm personnel subarea is maintained for the respective Personnel area.

If any,let us know.

Hi,

Go to the view V_001P_K and check if the personnel subarea grouping is maintained against the personnel area for which you are hiring the person.

if the above does not works, then let me know, when you hire, which infotype you are using to assign the wage type.

This usually a warning message u get when u create IT0008, so iinore this message and keep on Enter four times and your wagetypes will be automatically defaulted.
