Changing 0MATERIAL Structure

Hi Guys ,

I have to add 2 fields to 0material master data object ( product Group and Product Line) .This 0material is used in other providers in the system .Can you please tell me any precautions to be taken before adding these fields to 0MATERIAL ?

Hi,

Makesure that added and basic char has been activated fully..other than that it would not effect directly...

adding fields to a master data has no impact on any datatarget this is used. just make sure everything is reactivated afterwards.
