error logs to be made mandatory in LEAD CREATION ( TCode : CRMD_BUS2000108)

Hi Experts,

I have an issue in CRM5.0

While creating leads via TCode CRMD_BUS2000108 there are some customized error logs appearing dynamically on screen. But despite of these error logs, it permits the leads to be saved. I want to restrict this. Means leads should be saved without errors.

I tried to find the SPRO path for same, but was not sucessfull. I even tried to find the BADI/User Exit where those customized messages are coded, but could not find that even. Actualy it is 4yrs old system with no documentation for past history changes, and I have joined in this scenario recently.

Hope my requirement is clear. Still if any doubts, please let me know.

Can you experts pls suggest me how to proceed ?

Hi,

I understand your problem. First of all you need to find out the Badi where all the customized messages are used.

For this, just go to the details of the message and note the message class and number. It would be starting with Z for all the custom messages. Then you can go to Tcode SE91 and enter the message class and number. And for that message you can check the Where Used List. This will display the Badi name where it is used.

You need to modify this Badi so that the system doesnt allow save with errors.

Thanks for your reply.

But I have already tried these tricks...........but no message class apearrs in its technical properties, instead it shows the DATA ELEMENT NAME. I guess the message is thrown directly by throwing message from Code itself rather then from Message Class.

Now the situation is drilling from message is not possible.

I remeber in ECC there used to be a Badi/Exit to validate PR/PO documents, there must be something smiliar to this.

Do u have any other idea ?

Do u remeber any standard User/Customer-Exit or standard Badi for validations durring LEAD creation/maintainence .......i might try them by opening one by one, all of them to find that message code.

Please try something...i need help...

Hi,

You can search for any enhancements in tcode SE19.

There you can identify if some badi has been implemented for the Lead process.

Hi PP,

I tried this also via SE19, CMOD, SMOD...to find all Z exits and Z-Badi's. And drilled them to find the message in the code........but still nothing productive.

Will tell you the process.......

SE19 --> in classic badi i found few Z Badi's.............explored them one by one.......opened the codes and studied them but they are not those which appear in Error Log of Lead's infact they are being trigered upon saving the Lead, but this wont solve my purpose. These Badi are MULTIPLE USE Badis.

Is there anything else which we can attempt ?

Though I am very poor at Badi, still I am trying my best. In Badi, is it possible that it was done through standard BADI ? As i tried my best for Z* only......may be this is why i didnt got that code !!
