CJ20N Account Asst Elem RADIO BUTTION is Grayed OR Edit mode WHY

Hello All,

When i use tcode CJ20N by passing input with WBS element no ,

i am seeing that in BASIC DATA tab in Operative indicatore of Account Asst Elem RADIO BUTTION is Grayed some WBS wklemenmt no.

And it is EDIT mode in Some WBS Element no.

Pls suggest why? its grayed and edit mode?

The Account Asst Elem button allows you to assign orders to the WBS element (in particular, activities and networks) that result in actual or commitment postings to the WBS element. Once any actual cost is posted (whether primary or secondary) the indicator gets greyed out. This is logical because once cost is posted you should not be able to remove this indicator.

In your case the cost must have been posted on some WBS and not all of them which is why you see the variation.

Actually i am abaper further can u help technically that is

how can i identify this WBS element is actual cost is posted OR NOT.?

Means any table field can we see?

Check with PS functional person, he will suggest you some reports. To get you started check S_ALR_87013542 or CJE0.

Hello Ammar and thank you very much for your informative response. I wonder if I reclassify the cost/transfer it to other WBSs and zero out the subject WBS (which had account assignment element grayed out) will the system allow me to deslect this indicator)?
