Hi Experts,
i have lot of confusion between Master data and transaction Data in SAP BI.
please explain this with examples.

There is a great step by step "creating a cube" document here:
From this document, you can learn lots of things about modelling.There are also lots of examples about your question.Just download the files which are written in the document(Tutorial_Prod_Attr.csv, Tutorial_Prod_Texts.csv,Tutorial_Trans.csv) and see "the difference between master data(text and attribute) and transactional data".

Hi,
Master Data:
Master data is data that remains unchanged over a period of time. It contains information that is always needed in the same way. For example, all personal attributes can be stored in various SAP standard infotypes as records with specific validity which are called Master data.
Transaction data:
Data relating to the day-to-day transactions.
