Hi,

Check the host file entry whether full domain name is there or not.

I've also faced the same problem earlier, it was due to java installation. Have you reinstalled java recently in your machine..? It might not be properly reinstalled....check it and also make sure you use Java version 1.4.2 for XI 3.0/7.0 and version 1.5 for PI 7.1. Hope this may help.

Regards,

Priyanka

Hello,

In addition to the recommendations provided already, you could also try the following:

Clear the Java Web Start cache:

For clearing the Java Web Start cache, go to the Start menu of your

system and select 'Run'. Type 'javaws -viewer' in the Run prompt and

select 'OK'. The Java Control Panel will appear. Under the General tab,

select 'Settings' from under the Temporary Internet Files section.

Select 'Delete Files' and click 'OK'.

Check if you are on the most recent patch levels for the PI components XITOOL, XIAF, XIAFC, MESSAGING, XIGUI and also LMCORE and CORETOOLS.

Hi Teja,

I hope you have already disabled the proxy before connecting to VPN.

Check server IP and host name added to hosts (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) file in your current system.
