ECC 6.0 upgrade dependent checks

Hi Experts,

We are upgrading from 4.7 to ECC 6.0, our system landscape includes BI and APO. I would like to know the key activities to be done after upgrade and switch over the logical system connections and CIF interface. Anything else do we need to consider in data transfer due to Unicode version in ECC 6 ?

Checks to be done for both directions:

ECC 6.0 - SAP BI 7

ECC 6.0 - SAP APO

SAP BI - SAP APO

Hi,

Your question is not clear. Are you doing unicode conversion as well ?

As far as testing is concerned, you need to do the integration testing with both BW and APO system. Check if all data load chains are successful.

Hi,

Just follow unicode conversion guide. Also, change RFC destinations from non-unicode to unicode system.
