Hello SAP Gurus,
For Material MAT1 the situatoin is as follows :
1. No Inspection Types are activated
2. Quantity of 5 LTR is moved in QI stock for a batch BAT1. No lots created as quality is not active
3. Inspection Types 04, 08, 09, 89 are activated for MAT1
As no Inspection Lot exists for this batch, the system wont allow me to move it out of QI stock. When I try Mvt Typ 321 I get error 'Change the inspection stock of material MAT1in QM only'
When I try to remove the Inspection Types from Material Master I get error 'To deactivate QM, the inspection stock for the material must be empty'
Please let me know how to move this stock to UNRESTRICTED.
Thanks in advance,
Manish.
Hi Manish,
as i already told u that when u transfer post the material by using Mvt typ 322, than as per standard sap 08 need to be activated in ur material master.
without activation of 08 inspection type, if try for tranfer posting via any of the transaction, system ask u to activate the inspection type in Material master.
that's why i was suggested u, and the same suggested by Mr. Sujit also, 322 without 08 or 0800 is not possible.

Which mov type are you running to post stock in QI? If you do 101 for order then you will get 04 inspection lot.
If you do stock transfer then you will get 08 inspection lot.
FYI - Insp type 89 is not stock relavent.
Have you moved stock to QI before you activated inspection type to material master? - If once stock is in QI then system would not allow you to actiavte inspection type. - If you have moved stock to QI without lot then you should be able to move stock from QI through tranx MB1B.
If respected inspection type is already active in material master & if you move stock to QI then insp lot should be there in system for that stock. Check at QA32 for that material withoutut any other filter. you should get lot in list.
To avoif all these confusion & prob best solution is to cancel original document through which stock posted to QI. This way system will remove QI stock. Now activate inspection type in material master, set & check all master data set correctly and then do create same document one more time, you should get inspection lot..
Hope this helps.

Hi NehSAP,
I used 322 to move stock to QI. At that time no Inspection Types were active. Inspection Types 04, 08, 09, 89 were activated after the stock was moved to QI. Hence there is no lot.
Now when I try to cancel the 322 document, I again get error which says 'Change the inspection stock of material MAT1in QM only'
Can we do something about this ?
Thanks and Regards,
Manish.
hi
Dear sujit prblm is somewaht different and ur solution is for activation of inspection type,
Hi Manish ,
check ur QA32 transaction there will be any lot of SPRQ status if it is there than close it , another thing u need to check ur config.
Go to SPRO--> Quality Management-> Quality Inspection----> Inspection lot creation -
> Inspection for Goods Movement and than check 322 mvt type , if QM not active indicator is set than ok otherwise definitely a lot will be there against ur posting,
My suggesstion check it properluy in QA32.
if u have activated all inspection type after posting than use MB1B for its removal .
Regards

Hi Everybody,
Thanks a lot for your inputs. I am once again giving the details of this issue :
1. Material to Material transfer was cone from MAT2 to MAT1
2. At this moment no Inspection Types were active for MAT1
3. The stock was received in UNRESTRICTED stock in MAT1
4. Stock was moved to QI with 322. As there was no Inspection Type, there is not lot at all
5. Now Inspection Types 04, 08, 09 and 89 were activated for MAT1
So the stock is stuck in QI. Now I cant move it out of QI and the system doesnt allows me to delete/deactivate the Inspection Types.
Please suggest how to go ahead.
Regards,
Manish.
