Indexing multiple Multiproviders

Hi Every one,

Can we index multiple Multiproviders at a time to activate them for BO Explorer . I mean to say instead of going to t-code RSDDTPS and selecting each Multiprovider and setting values for authorisations tab and etc and activating it, can we select some number of Multiproviders at a time and provide settings and activate them once so as to reduce time and number of clicks?

can it be done with any other t-code or some sort of scheduling as background job etc? any idea will be helpful.

I have one more question --- after indexing and activating Multiproviders for BO Explorer in Dev, if i need those Multiproviders for Quality and production do i need to index and activate Multiproviders in Quality and Production or is there any transportation of objects is available ? if yes how to acheive the same?

Thanks in advance...

    Hi Priya,

I think if you have already created index in RSDDB then you should be able to enhance it for BO Explorer and you might be able to do that in parallel.

Check the below link for more informaiton,

      Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but my question is different. Iam using RSDDTPS T-code to enhance Multiproviders to Business objects explorer. i go to t-code RSDDTPS and select each Multiprovider and set values for authorisations tab and etc and activate it. we have many number of multiproviders that need to be enhanced . my question here is can i select all the multiproviders at a time and provide settings and activate them once so as to reduce time and number of clicks?

can it be done with any other t-code or some sort of scheduling as background job or with LSMW etc so as to reduce number of clicks? any idea will be helpful.
