Hi All,

We can run Deployment with and w/o SNP Check horizon

Please tell me what would be the difference

1. Running TLB after Deployment which has been run w/o SNP Check horizon

2. Running TLB after Deplyment which has been run using SNP check horizon

I am asking this specifically as the TLB has been generating orders reduntantly and I am wondering if this issueis becasue of not using SNP check hor

Hi,

The SNP checking horizon controls the ATD issue calculation.

If you specify an SNP checking horizon, deployment calculates the ATD quantity for a period within the SNP checking horizon by adding the ATD receipts for the current period and the past periods and subtracting all ATD issues within the SNP checking horizon.

For example if you maintained SNP checking horizon is 5 days , the sales order lies on the sixth day will not be considered for calculation of ATD issue.

Thanks and regards

Hi Thamizh,

Thanks so much for the prompt response.

Can you kinldy let me know what would the impact of this be on the subsequent TLB run.

In my case, there was a TLB order created initailly for date xx:yy:2011 basing on the available supply / stock .

The next day , when deployment and subsequent TLB ran, the result was another TLB order with shipping date one day prior to xx:yy:2011.

So now two TLB orders are existing for the same materials / quantities but diferent dates ie First TLB order with shipping date on wednesday and the second one with shipping date on Tuesday

Can anyone kindly explain this and also let me know if this can be solved by using SNP check horizon

Regards,

Hi ,

It seems you are not considering the TLD orders as part ATD issue and that may be reason your deployment is creating two orders and consequently TLB is creating two orders.

Thanks and regards
