JSP opening error in NWDS

Hi Guys,

I am facing this very annoying problem everytime I open a jsp. Instead of opening JSP in the default jsp viewer NWDS produce a download popup asking whether to save or open this file on my desktop using test editor. Previously it was opening jsp normally in NWDS itself but since couple of days I am facing this problem. I haven't change any settings in NWDS.

I need your help to resolve this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Its not a problem with the NWDS settings. Go to your windows explorer and choose ToolsFolder OptionsFile Types. Under the registered file types scroll down to find JSP and then hit the delete button.

Now go back to NWDS and open a JSP the problem should be solved.

Hello Sunil,

Could you please verify if the File Associations editor for *.jsp is the JSP Editor (default) in your NWDS Preferences / Workbench / File Associations ?

Sunil,

As per Ashok comments, click on window -> Preferences --> Expend Workbench and then select jsp and then confirm the association with JSP Editor (Default).
