Job started

step 001 started (program RSPROCESS, variant XXXXX USER ID ALEREMOTE)

Internal error with CCMS connection

Process chain variant ZPCTD_121_A is not scheduled waiting for event

RSPROCESS 3TANXXXXXXXX.

Job cancelled.

Please let me know the solution for this problem......

Many Thanks in advance,

Venkat.

Hi Guys,

I had this problem today and have been searching high and low for a solution. i finally fixed it, heres what I did ...

I followed some advice from this thread by going into the log where the problem was reported, then clicked the 'planning view' button. I then went to the menu 'process chain' and selected 'remove from schedule'. i then saved and reactivated the process chain, and it worked fine. I assume this would have told the TBTCO table that the process chain was finished and thus allowed me to reschedule the chain.

Hope this helps,

PW

Venkat,

In this case, the best thing to do is:

1.open your process chain in planning mode

2.Choose menu option: Process chain -> Remove from Schedule

3.Activate and Schedule your process chain again

This should fix it & let me know how it goes.

Good Luck,

Hi Siggi,

Well when i checked the metachain, in fact a subchain was added recently by implementation guys at onsite.

Since then the Job is getting cancelled in production server dialy and then we are uploading the data manually.

So In this case What will be procedure to schedule the meta chain without any problems?. Please let me know the steps if any....

Many thanks,

Venkat...

Hi venkat,

Can u check the execution of your chain by making following configuration.

Start process chains synchronously (Call Transaction RSPC, Plan view, menu->Execution -> Execute synchronously).

Let me know the result.

Hi Venkat,

well, I don't know how you defined the steps in your chain, but in your case it might help to set the dependency between the single subchains just to start (independently from success of the previous chain).

Hope this helps,

We are experiencing this same problem and SAP (via OSS) has not been much help to us. I first submitted an OSS note regarding this problem on June 26, 2004. SAP sent some suggestions to us, but none worked.

We initially saw this problem inside our meta chains, but like the bubonic plague it quickly spread.

Here's a list of what we have tried so far. None of them have fixed the problem, but at least this way you know of some things that you don't need to waste time on:

- Remove all chains from Meta Chains. We no longer use Meta Chains anywhere. The problem persists.

- Schedule processes to start via an event and schedule a job to fire the event. That didn't help.

- Schedule process chains via the API. Don't waste your time with this one, it also did not work.

- Implementing Note 592932

Our current 'solution' is to monitor the chains every night and manually restart them when this type of problem occurs. This really sucks for those of us with a family (or night life).

If anyone knows how to fix this please let me (and SAP) know.

We are on BW Support Pack 26.

Frustrated with BW,

Brian
