testing of reports

hi all,

can any one plz tell the best testing techniques for testing the reports that we have migrated from boxi r2 to bi 4.0.

Hi,

during a migration of Reports i always check the following

1. Runtime

- Is it identical to the prior version? Maybe slower, Maybe faster?

2. Data

- Is the Aggregation bringing up the same values as before? Like SUM, AVG, etc.

- Are the values still the same and make them sense? This should check your Customer department

3. Layout

- Is the Report still looking the same as before?

Part 3 could be tricky cause with BI4 we introduce a totally new Chart Engine.
