Material Base unit

Dear Gurus,

I created material XYZ which have base unit (Drum= DR) and "unit of measure 209 Liter = 1 DR". Issue unit is Liter= L. While creating automatic reservation though maintenance order (Required quantity is 50 Liters). The following problems we are facing;

1. When we are going to post the reservation system shows 209 L instead of 50 L.

2. 209 L is in change mode so we post 50 L, but using standard report MB25 in difference quantity column shows 0.761 drum instead of 0.

Note:

When creating order from mb21 > mov. type 261. report shows proper values.

I also tried IW13 which is much helpful. But how to restrict the required quantity for posting.

Regards

amahmood

    Hi ...

    Generally,1 barrel or 1 drum consists of 209 Ltrs of oil.So,when ever u want to consume say 50ltrs,system won't allow u to consume as u have already defined 1 DR = 209 Ltrs.

    Alternatively you can issue the full drum of 209 ltrs from the WareHouse against your requirement and then consume and post according to your requirment.

    I hope this justifies your requirement.

    Regards

    Gaurav
