Day based PR Release Strategy

Hi Experts,

Though looks very unique, my client need DAY based PR release strategy.

Two users A and B.

Particular release strategy, will be approved by user 'A' on Mon to Wed and for Thu & Fri, user 'B' will approve.

Any one has come across this requirement, may please share their way of resolving this.

Thanks & regards,

Jeeva.

you can create alternate release strategy where in both can be approvers independently. so either one releasing can release the document. person1 can choose to release from mon to wed and 2 can do it on thurday nd friday.

    Hi

First of all you can take one of the field which is avilable in Communicatin strategy to fill the day .For example if it is craeted on date which is Monday .Ask ababper to check the date from the calender and auto populate the field with Day.

Create the charcterist with day and assign the possible values and assign with chareterstic with class.

Create the release based on the charactertics inculding Day.

We need to take the help of the user exit in order to find date on which the PR is created to find that day through the program based on the calender .

In this case you have to create the release codes. The Abaper can pass that if the day are Mond ,tueday then trigger the release strategy X1 and if the day are Wed thus ,friday then trigeer the release X2.

    Regards
