Reset of automatic scheculed Forecast Backround after each Run

Hi Experts

We have scenario where forecasting jobs are scheduled for Monthly Run through (MC8G) .Theses jobs are not reseting itsself for next month Run ,Untill Job is reset from status B to Null via MC8E.

Kindly guide me why manual intervention is requiring each time.

I think that since jobs can be scheduled to run automatically, the status change gives a kind of manual/user control to avoid unwanted job runs.

Thanks for your update ,we have also checked SDN thread dated 9th Aug 2011 and got below link :

Which states that :When a job has been scheduled and run, the job gets a status. This status needs to be reset before the job can run again

Pls reaffirm our understanding that job status needs manual resetting after each auto run of Creating production plan and mass transfer to demand management (Background job).
