How the connection will establish between web application to pi system

Hi,

First time I am doing soap to rfc scenario.

I have a few doubts regarding the scenrio.Already i went through the saop sender CC(pi 7.1), but i didn't find any connection parameters in between web application to pi.

I have wsdl file as well as receiver side bapi, and i know the way of doing.

But my doubt is how the connection will astablish between websystem to pi system.

    it will be via the URL that you will provide the Web application team.

    it seems you are consuming webservice provided by web app

    check for "end point url" in your WSDL file , if the web app is in your network you need to have network connection

    if web app is on internet you need to have internet access configured in your PI system.

    • when you create a WSDL, usually if provided the correct details the target URL will already be in the correct format within the WSDL.

      Hence passing over the WSDL should be more than enough.

      But as I mentioned earlier, you need to ensure that the target URL is in the correct format . Refer my earlier reply.
