problem with configuring ESS (WDA) in portal

HI All,

I am trying to have ESS (WDA) applications on Portal. These are the standard WDA applications provided by SAP such as Addresses, Bank information , etc.

The follwing steps were followed:

1. Installing the business package

2. Creating the systems

3. Creating Jco connections

4. Assigning "com.sap.pct.erp.ess.wda.Employee_Self_Service_WDA" role in portal

5. Assigning ESS role in backend system

Now i can see the ESS role in portal but it shows a rum time error on the page. Please let me know what is missing and what else i have to do?
