Connecting multiple clients of ECC to BW in QA

Hello Guys,

We have 2 clients in QEC. 100 and 200. 200 one is restricted one and contains HR data.

Normally QBW is connected to QEC 100. Now we need to pull data from client 200 as well to BW for testing. I am not able to achieve this. Basis has already created another source system QEC200 in QBW but when I am moving my transports I am not able to see Data flows from QEC200, it's still from QEC 100.

I thought once source system QEC 200 is active in QBW and after we move transports from DBW to QBW, I will see 2 data flows from 2 data sources ( from from client 100 and other one from client 200).

Please guide if this is possible in QA or not? If possible, what's the reason I can't see 2 transformation etc.

Regards

Amandeep

If you have only one dataflow on your DEV system, you will have only one dataflow on your QUA system after transport.

System sources are converted during the TO import according to your customizing (RSA / Transport Connection / Conversion button):

By importing multiple times a same transport order with different conversion rules you will be able to replicate the transformations done on one system source to another.

How come you have different data flows in 100 and 200? If dataflow is created in one client say 100 , its automatically get replicated in other client. And yes if changes made in 100 is not reflecting in 200 , then you can do with tcode SCC1.

SCC1: Copy by Transport Request. Transaction code SCC1 is a supplement to the client copy. It can be used to transfer individual transport requests directly out for the source client into the the current client. The activities are listed in a clearly structured copy log.
