Dear all,
We are learning Note 144864 - SAP Remote Services: Technical preparation - ST03.
In this note, Basis release is mentioned,
such as below:
1. Systems with Basis release < 6.10
2. Systems with Basis release 6.10
3. Systems with Basis release 7.00 and higher
Our system version is 4.6C,
and we found below information
System>Status>Components>SAP_BASIS>46C
Is that means our Basis release is 46C?
Is 46C<6.10?
So our question is how to check our system's Basis release?
What is the meaning about Basis release< 6.10, or 6.10, or 7.00 and higher?
Any experienced please give your advice.
Regards
Allen
Hi,
Your understanding is appropriate. Version of SAP_BASIS component determines your basis release.
What is the meaning about Basis release< 6.10, or 6.10, or 7.00 and higher?
It implies that solution is applicable to sap_basis component release 6.10 or higher.
Hope this answers your query.

It means that "1. Systems with Basis release < 6.10:" solution is correct for the 4.6C, which is suitable one with this situation. I understand opposite of it, by your words, if I understand correctly.
