Data Not appearing

Hi All,

I have created a report last week, over the weekend I have worked on the dimension on hierarchy, today when I ru the report I can the actuals appearing on the report, even when I open the saved report last week I can see the data but it goes off.

This means can't I view the data from flat in BPC in FACT table ? I ssee SIGNEDDATA BUT THERE NOTHING IT ....

Hi,

If you want to see the flat file data, you need to run the import package and see the data in the FAC2 table, before optimizing the application.

After optimization, all the records are moved to the FACT table. You can see the data in there also. But is would be hard to identify which record has come from flat file, and which one has come from input schedule.

If you have not optimized the application, you can see the data in FAC2 table.

Hi,

When you load data from import package, it stores in the FAC2 table. Any data sent from the input schedules are stored in the FACTWB table. However, if you have already optimized your application, all the data will be copied from these 2 tables to FACT table, and will be hard to determine which record came from flat file and which record came from input schedule.

Hi,

In the SQL management studio, you need to expand databases, then expand the database for your appset (same name as your appset). Then expand tables. You should be able to see a table like dbo.tblFactABC, where ABC is the name of your application.

Hi,

All the data is loaded in the SQL database.

To check the data, first optimize the application. Then, login to SQL server management studio. You will get a database with the same name as your appset. Go to FACT table of your application.

What happens if you select a base member in the CV, and display SELF in the report? Does it fetch the data?

Do you mean that you are not getting the data in the report after modifying the hierarchy?

Please process your dimension and process the application as well.
