Create Quotations without Material ID and Customer ID

HI,

Anyone can tel me that is there any possibility in SAP to create Customer Quotations/ Enquery on Temporary purpose without creating material and Customer. There are so many new material and customer come to us. But we are not sure that customer is going to place the order or not. We want to create Inquery/ Quotation without Material ID and customer ID and when our Inquery mature then we create new material and customer in SAP while converting final quotation into sales order. Please help us in this regard....

    Hello ,

    As per you Business Requirement create one Dummy Material and Dummy customer and use for that.

    Hi,

    For any business scenario, you cannot create any quotation without a Customer or Sold to Party. However you can keep a quotatuion formate using a dummy sold to party/ customer, which can be used to send to any customer by editing/changing later.
