Header Status Cancel automatically in service order

Hi,

I am using CRM 7.0 version and I have a service order that have to be resolved or canceled status at header level .

At present If i change my Item level status to complete or cancel then Header level status is changes to resolved .

My requirement is if i Change Item level status to cancel then Header level should become cancel and want to keep completed -


> resolve as it is .

I tried many ways through configuration like I have selected Item level cancel status and in details selected system status cancel with check box set.

similarly selected header level status and in details tab selected system status cancel with check box set .

But it is not working as expected , i .e Again if change Item status to cancel then header status become resolve .. Please help to fix this Item status to header status cancel automatically ..
