Changing BEX Query Broadcast Settings

e upgraded from BI 7.0 to BI 7.01 and for Bex broadcast settings created prior to 7.01 it seems we are not able to change the distribution type to use the new options like Broadcast E-mail (bursting) and output format to PDF.

I have checked spro settings for BI, specifically RSCUSTV27 and these are the assignments.

0REPORT_TEMPLATE_BROADCASTING

0REPORT_DEFAULT_TEMPLATE

Again, if I try to edit the settings in rsrd_admin, this opens the portal to maintain the bex broadcast settings, but there is no option for output type PDF Broadcast E-mail (bursting). Also, when creating a u2018New Settingu2019 these options for 7.01 are not available.

Dear Lee,

Please check in the table RSRD_DISTTYPE , their you should edit the table to have the options in broadcaster.

you should uncheck the NOT_IN_WIZARD column for the two options.

Thanks for info on the table, but the problem is not that distribution types are suppressed, as confirmed in this table, but that that all the broadcast settings are not available for broadcast settings created in 7.0 and before 7.01

Leave all of the fields blank in RSCUSTV27 and check if this works.
