Business Partner Authorisations

Hi all,

I was wondering, is there any way to prevent users from viewing specific Business Partners? We want the users to be able to view some of the Business Partners, but not all of them.

Hi Costas,

B1 only support form level authorization. For any record level authorization, you have to use SDK to reach your goal.

what is the reason you dont want users to see the specific Business Partner? is it because of BP Account Balances you dont want the users to see??? if because of BP balances you can make it in General Authorization window and give the user NO Authorization in BP Balances under General.

Thank you for your reply. We cannot use that option, because we want the user to be able to see the account balances for some of the business partners. We only want to block them from viewing a selected few.

Hi Costas......

Unfortunately it is not possible to restrict the users to view for a particular BP.......

This may be possible via SDK.......
