can we access same info simultaniously in portal and R/3???

Hi guys ,

I m a portal consultant , i m facing a issue like when HR team is accessing the data in r/3 , we are notable access the same data from Portal....

we are getting an error "service locked"

any solution for this......

or can we minimize that error to short message

please help me....this my client requirement.......
