sybase mobile sales - FM "SMMW_USER_AUTH_GETLIST" not found.

Hi expert,

I'm running sdoe_load for SAP basis 7.0, my reload failed with the following error message:

data object: user_authorization

message: FM "SMMW_USER_AUTH_GETLIST" not found.

Any idea?

You need to configure Backend Destination for this object. Did you do that? You need to set this configuration in DOE Admin portal.

I've found out SWCV SAP Basis 7.1 -> User_Authorization Data object -> backend adapter's User_Auth_BA has an error.

BAPI wrapper SMMW_USER_AUTH_GETLIST and SMMW_USER_AUTH_GETDETAIL cannot be found. Any idea?

Hi,

I've added adaptive adapter -> SAP Basis 7.1/User_Authorization/User_Auth_BA.

So i go to SDOE_WB to regenerate and reactive SWCV SAP Basis 7.1.

A few errors have been observed:

1) I've found out SWCV SAP Basis 7.1 -> User_Authorization Data object -> backend adapter's User_Auth_BA has an error.

BAPI wrapper SMMW_USER_AUTH_GETLIST and SMMW_USER_AUTH_GETDETAIL cannot be found.

Question: Why are both SMMW_USER_AUTH_GETLIST and SMMW_USER_AUTH_GETDETAIL not found?

2) After that i go to Sdoe_actgen and rerun SAP Basis 7.1. In the smq2, FM SDOE_GENERATE_DM failed with error message "unable to find the requested data object".

3) Then, i trigger sdoe_load of user_authorization in SAP Basis 7.1, in Admin Portal -> Process Monitoring, backend loads failed with error "Function Module "SMMW_USER_AUTH_GETLIST" not found.

4) Finally, i tried to do new subscription via iPhone, the i reiceved a notfication for subscription failure: Create data: the specified type is not a valid type.......

Any idea?

These function modules will be part of DOE installation. Please check these function modules in same system in SE37 transaction.

I think you would have configured Backend Destination for this object to some other system. Due to this, you are getting error. You need to configure this parameter to NONE so that it will look into same system. You can check the current destination configured in SDOE_WB transaction on opening the backend adapter.

But to configure new value (NONE), you need to open DOE Admin portal -> Configuration -> Backend Configuration -> Backend Destination parameter in the table and select the data object in second table and provide the value as NONE.

Thanks for your advise. Now the problem 1 is fixed.

1) Now both FM is visible after i changed backend destination to NONE.

I still have the same error after the step 1. Any idea?

SDOE_ACTGEN transaction is obsolete and it is not supported from starting version of 710 release.

So, Please use SDOE_WB transaction to generate the objects.

1. Goto SDOE_WB transaction

2. Select SAP BASIS 7.10 software component version.

3. Select View Metadata option from context menu of SAP BASIS 7.10.

4. Then Select all objects listed in Data Objects and select Generation (Asynchronous option)

5. Then Select all objects listed in Backend Adapter and select Generation (Asynchronous option)

6. Then Select all objects listed in Distribution model and select Generation (Asynchronous option)

Now, generation of the objects starts in DOE_MASS_ACTGEN queue in SMQ2 transaction. After successful execution of this queue, you can perform data load using SDOE_LOAD transaction.

Thanks again for the prompt reply.

My NW mobile is 7.1 SP11.

Data Objects were generated successfully.

But when it comes to Backend Adapter, i bumped into "Unable to find requested Data Object" for FM SDOE_BEADP_ACTGEN. There are 2 backend adapter in the list, ie, user_det_ba and user_auth_ba. Now i realised that my SAP Basis 7.1 smwv does not have the BO UserDetails under standard. What is wrong here?

Oh...User Details & User Authorization data objects are missing.

Please raise an OSS message to check the issue.

1. When was the installation of DOE system is done?

2. Any upgrades / activities performed after installation?

1) NW mobile was installed already 1-2 years, at least. Now it's NW 7.1 SP11.

Without looking at the system, we can't find how these objects missed. So, i suggest you to raise an OSS message so that SAP can look into the issue. These two objects are mandatory for ESDMA/application to work.
