I have a vendor assigned to an equipment in partner assignment and i need the following
1. have the vendor populated in the service PR (PM03 Key) created for the equipment after maintenance order creation.
2. can the vendor changes for that equipment be tracked (for eg. i have a crane and assigned the OEM as a vendor and if point 1 is achieved i have the OEM gets defaulted in the vendor for the PR) If i make changes to the vendor assigned in the equipment say i replace the OEM with a local vendor i should be able to track the changes in the equipment master
Is there any other functionality to achieve this in Equipment master which is in AMC
The client is outsourcing the entire utility maintenance like A/C installations, Electricity etc.. any BPP link for this scenario will be helpful

Hi,
For your first requirement - In Config if u have activated "Copy Partner functions to Master data & Movment Data" then the partner in eqpt gets copied to as Order partner ..
i belive u may have to user exit IWO10009 PM Order: Customer Check for 'Save' Event
You can try to use FM : BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN /BAPI_ALM_ORDER_GET_DETAIL in the above exit to get Order partner data ..& you should also look for other suitable FM to update Vendor data for service operation ..
