SNP Heuristics generates purchase requisition

Hi Experts,

I have a requriement to generates purchase requisitions start date at Monday; Im trying to use period factor but still I gets the reqs still falls in different days and also the planning calendar under the lot-size. Is there any other ways that I can apply this requirement?

My lot-size is weekly bucket and 1 day transportation duration and 1 day GR.

Hi,

What is the period factor you have maintianed?.

period factor Zero is interpreted as 0.5 by Heuristics.

So if you want receipt on monday please maintain 0.01in the period factor field in Lane.

Thanks for your reply, yes actually I used 0.001 but the availability date of the P reqs still falls on the different date; is there any other way to implement this requirement?

Where have you maintained the PF in Lane or in product master?

If you have maintained in product master, please choose "Use period factor" check box.

I've tried both scenario, in the product master and in the TL; unfortunately its not an option in the define it in the SNP PPM since its a custom program that is generating it

Have you checked for shipping holiday at source or receiving holiday at destination?

Thanks again for your reply; yes some of the days that didnt fall has holidays for that current week thats why it didnt schedule at the desired date but some of the Preqs generated were fall on other days even without any holidays in the calendar. Except for the calendars of the transport and handling what are the other factors thatc an affect this specified period factor settings? Other than this setting would you consider any other scenario to apply this requirement?
