Error like Sorry, your browser/program is not supported by Web Dynpro!

Hi Dear All,

I am beginner for WebDynpro java, i created one WebDynpro application i want to print "Welcome to WebDynpro Java" text on my browser,but when i am deploy and running this application i am getting error like

"Sorry, your browser/program is not supported by Web Dynpro ! "

What does it mean,please help me anyone!!!

Hi,

This is browser support problem make sure that you use IE and make your IE as a default browser because if you deploy your application it will take your default browser.

Please Check Compatibility View Setting( Click on Tools --->Click on Compatibility View Settings Here add Your Portal URL)

I found this sapnote when I looking for a answer for the same problem, but with IE 8.

Note 1347768 - Web Dynpro and Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 8.0

it just means your current browser is not supported.

if your netweaver is old, only old version of IE and firefox are supported.

Hi,

Try to use Internet Explorer. When i used fire fox i got the same error.

It worked fine in IE.

If you still have prob check SAP note 991449.
