analysis authorizations Characteristic level

Please explain me

1. Characteristic level

2. Characteristic Value level

3. Key Figure level

4. Hierarchy node level

With a scenario or an example each.

One more Question:

->If we authorized a Characteristic, is it restricted to all user unless you give them d authoirsation for that characteristic?

-> and same Question follows for all the level.
