Hi all,

This is the description:

• Cannot launch Java Report Panel in BI Launch Pad: The following error appears when trying to use Web Intelligence Application (via Applications or when editing a webi report 😞

java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: 6

OS Client: Win XP SP3

OS Server: Redhat 5

Tomcat default installation

There is a proxy but the problem persists even after disabling it

The problem occurs in all client machine and with all BO or SAP user accounts

Same problem with IE 8 compatibility mode and with Firefox

Reinstalling BO doesn't resolve the issue

• The problem doesn't occur in Windows Server (2nd installation)

1. Deleting cookies doesn't help

2. uninstalling JRE then installing the default one doesn't help

3. Disabling the antivirus doesn't help

maybe a connectivity issue between clients and Red hat server ?

is SELinux enabled on linux ?

what's different between connection to windows server, vs connection to Linux one ?
