Posting Variant change

Hello,

I there a risk in assigning a new Posting Variant to a company code, the customer is still in testmode not yet in Production, what could be the effect ?

    I believe you are referring to Posting Period Variant. There is no issue, as far as it meets the customer's requirement. You can change it, there will not be any problem.
