Hi Experts,

The User is trying to do Transfer posting ( T code - MBIB)

He is getting the error saying " Deficit of BA Ret. Blocked prev. 87 No. 400001016 7300 1000 ATL01016"

How to rectify this?

look at the info in the message and make sure that your entries in MB1B will match with the stock in your location.

1st hint: the message talks about previous period because you have entered a date of last period, is that correct?.

2nd hint: the message talks about blocked stock. did you have blocked stock in the last period?

3rd hint: material number 400001016 . is it the correct material?

4th hint: plant number 7300 is it the correct plant?

5th hint: storage location 1000 , was the stock in the last period in this location

6th hint: batch number ATL01016, was this batch in the last period as blocked stock in the above mentioned plant and storage location?

7th hint the quantity of 87. does this equal to your entered quantity?

And he hint from me: use SE16 and check the previous period fields in table MCHB for the given material/plant/sloc/batch number combination. This will give you the info if you had blocked stock in the last period. (do not check MCHBH - this table does not matter in this case)

Here movement type used is 453.
