Stocks to be maintained in SAP.

Scenario

Background of the company - This company is preparing tablets and syrup.

A company is doing promotional activity for products by using calender, gifts, pens etc.

Company wants to track down the stocks(Promotional goods, i.e calendar, gifts, pens etc) which they are sending to plants( i.e Consignment Agents. eg. Plant 7000, 7100, 7200, 7300 , 7400, 7500)

Can you please explain in details how to do in SAP rather than do it in manually(i.e in paper)?

Can this can be done to customers also? how?

it is not really clear to me what you want achieve and what you actually do in SAP.

do you have already material masters and stock in your plant for calender, gifts, pens etc.

do you really want to manage stock for given gifts at the Consignment Agents. eg. Plant 7000, 7100, 7200, 7300 , 7400, 7500 ?

or is it just enough to record the goods issue to them?

if you manage stocks, then you have to get info about removals and post the removals.

Hi,

Create material, such as Calendar, Pen, etc with Material TYPE UNBW (i.e. Material non-valuated but stocked). This way you can keep track of such material(s).

so you want manage stock for calendar and gifts at your agents but not in your plants

Which means you have to create material masters for these items.

then you need to create stock at the agents. As you do not have stock these items in your own plant, you have to create stock from scratch. which means you do MIGO with 501 receipt without PO to create stock

and when you get informed that some calendards where taken, then you post a goods movement to cost center with 201 movement.
