unknown account assignment in external requirement

Hi SAP experts,

We are in SRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0 (without EHP). We are using PDP, where we pushing PR to SRM for sourcing. Normally in this scenario, PR created will be stored in EPRTRANS and will be pushed to SRM. However when creating PR with unknown account assignment the PR is not created in EPRTRANS. I have tried to use the same material and purchasing group but with account assignment K and it works. So the problem must be in account assignment

Do you have any idea how to go through this?

you may check in SAP Note 815849 - FAQ: Account assignment system response (Q10) that Account assignment category U (UNKNOWN) is not allowed with back-end scenarios.

Unknown account assignment is not supported in external requirement scenario.

HI,

If you are using SRM70 then you can use the newer option of trnasfer of PR using ESOA services which uses xml. But here PI system becomes mandatory.

In SRM70 the PR transfer with unknown assigment is not supported in SRM. But I am not sure why its not appearing in that table.
