How to delete ‘Requirements profile (LO)’?

Hi,

In customization (transaction PO17) I have to delete some old u2018Requirements profile (LO)u2019. I checked we are not using these u2018Requirements profiles (LO)u2019 for any object.

When I am trying to delete it system is giving message u2018First record canu2019t be deleted (time constraint 0 or 1).

How to delete these records?

How are you trying to delete it? The process for deleting objects should be to go to transaction PO17 (or PP01) and load the object, then go to the Object (or Requirements Profile) menu item in the top toolbar and select the Delete option.

Is there any provision to change time constraint for 'Object type' QP and infotype 1000?

The error could be caused by either the object deletion or the relationships on that object; have you tried deleting all relationships to other objects first?

I would strongly suggest against changing the TCC of infotype 1000 as it's used by all objects, not just QP (T778T). TCC of 1 for this is standard, and I am able to delete other objects (e.g. O and S) without any issues.

If it's a relationship causing the error, you can change the TCC of these in T778V.

Also, as per my first post please make sure you are selecting the Delete option from the TOP OBJECT DROP-DOWN MENU i.e. NOT selecting the Object row from the table in the main window and clicking on the bin icon - that would result in the message you are receiving!
