Thread in notification w.r.t status of equipment.

Hi PM/CS experts,

Please get me solution for the following thread:

While processing a notification there is a status bar with "I" Icon, which gets updated automatically during the process for the Equipment / Material for a Sold to party.

Please let me know how the status is getting updated, where do we set them for the notification/ notification type.

both status are there

system status - automatically assigned by system and cannot be changed

User status - user can change

User status is defined in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service --> Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service --> Basic Settings --> Define User Status

Assigned to notification type in Maintenance and Service Processing --> Maintenance and Service Notifications --> Notification Processing --> User Status for Notifications

Thanks for the attempt you have made to answer the thread, I want to get the Equipment status and how its updated in process internally, where are the controls.

user status or system status ?

May be the system status i.e. for Equipment it is " ATCO, OSNO ,REPR etc. on the notification.

For the system status, control is not user defined. In background, SAP itself will change the status using business transactions.

Only for user status, using config, we can control.
