Hello Community,

I have been working on developing SAPUI5 applications using eclipse. I am interested in uploading these to a Netweaver 7.4 java system running MII. The SAPUI5 version in the system is UISAPUI5_JAVA 1000.7.40.12.0.20151008174400 and the Odata version is ODATA-CXF-EXT 1000.7.40.12.0.20151008185500. I also found the path for the sap-ui-core.js in the following directory:j2ee/cluster/apps/sap.com/ui~five/servlet_jsp/sapui5/root/resources/sap-ui-core.js.

I have only found a handful of relatively old blog posts about using SAPUI5 in a java or MII system, but I didn't see a solution to this in any of them. So far I have referred to the following links for guidance:

https://blogs.sap.com/2012/09/27/mii-meets-up-sapui5/

https://blogs.sap.com/2013/10/31/sap-mii-and-html-5-demystified/

https://blogs.sap.com/2013/03/21/making-engaging-ui-on-sap-mii-with-sapui5/

https://blogs.sap.com/2012/08/06/how-far-can-you-go-with-sapui5-and-netweaver-java-73-server/

I would appreciate help finding documentation and examples regarding this scenario. Thanks in advance!

Kristen

Thanks for the suggested blog to review. Though it was informative we went a slightly different route than what the blog suggests. We imported the eclipse project into the MII development work bench to run the app from the NW java system.
